You can delete groups if you won't need them anymore. Here's how:

Go to the group's page in your control panel. You can get to the group's page from the Users and groups tab in your control panel.

Click Delete group along the top of the page.
You can also delete multiple groups at once from the group list page.
Deleting a group does not delete the users subscribed to the list. |
